Judo Scotland - Meeting Room

Requirements

Judo Scotland were looking to improve the quality of their conferencing facilities to aid their virtual meetings at their main office in Ratho, Edinburgh.

The main requirements included:

• Implement a video conferencing solution with high quality camera and microphones with compatibility for Microsoft Teams
• Improve the cable management and connectivity around the meeting room table to minimise clutter and cables being dragged across the floor

The Solution

After discussion and successful trial the solution was provided using the following equipment:

• Jabra Panacast 4K Camera with180 degrees field of view and automatically recognises people in the room and frames the shot accordingly
• Dual Jabra Speak 750 omni directional microphone and speaker. Features acoustic echo cancellation, allowing conversation to flow naturally as they would in face to face meeting
• Jabra Hub with USB-C connectivity provides a single point of connection for the users laptop to connect to room display, camera and speakers
• Pop up power outlets for powering and charging devices on the table

Summary

The new equipment has provided enhanced video conferencing with high quality audio and video for Judo Scotland’s meetings over Microsoft Teams.
